Submission
Manuscripts should be submitted online using the “Submission Form” section on the journal’s homepage http://tjpm.mazums.ac.ir/and this process is completely free of charge. Manuscripts must be created in Microsoft Word. This journal does not accept manuscripts that are simultaneously being considered by another or other journals or already published elsewhere.
All publishing elements, from the author to the editor in chief, should observe the ethical rules in publishing. All ethical principles in publishing have been evaluated by the issued flowcharts of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and all are bound to obey the articles of the treaty. Authors publish their articles by confidence in the issued rules.
Language:
Manuscripts should be written in clear, grammatical English. The past tense should be used throughout in describing the results and the present tense in referring to previously established and generally accepted results. Authors who are unsure of correct English usage should have their manuscript checked by somebody who is proficient in the language; manuscripts that are deficient in this respect may be returned to the author for revision before scientific review.
Typing:
Manuscripts must be typewritten in a Times New Roman font, 12 points size, double-spaced (including References, Tables and Figure legends) with wide margins (2.5 cm from all sides) on one side of A4 paper. All pages should be numbered consecutively at the bottom starting with the title page.

Title and Running Title: Write a brief and informative title that identifies the nature of the subject matter. Avoid chemical formulas, Symbols, or arbitrary abbreviations. Write a running title of no more than 50 characters and spaces.
Title page: The name of all authors, including the first and (surname) last names; their affiliation, the department and institutional affiliation of each author should be numbered and addressed. Put a star (*) above the corresponding author and give telephone number, fax number and email ID in the footer.
Abbreviations: Only common abbreviations may be used without definition. Terms appearing frequently (three or more times) within a paper may be abbreviated, but should be spelled out at first citation, with the abbreviation following in parentheses.
Abstract: All manuscripts must accompany abstract up to 350 words. The abstract should be nonstructural, concise and briefly describe the purpose of the work, techniques and methods used, major findings with important data and principal conclusions. Please write the abstract in third person. References should not be cited and abbreviations should be avoided.
Keywords: A list of 3-5 keywords should be included below the abstract. Use terms from the Medical Subject Headings (MESH) list of index medicus (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/MBrowser.html). If suitable MESH terms are not yet available for recently introduced terms, present terms may be used.
Introduction: This should contain a description of the problem under investigation and relevant background information and published studies should be described concisely, and be cited appropriately.
Materials and methods: Give adequate information to allow the experiment to be reproduced. Already published methods should be mentioned with references. Significant modifications of published methods and new methods should be described in detail. This section will include sub-sections.
Results: Results should provide detailed response rates. It is essential to include statistical analyses or other indicators to enable assessment of the variance of replicates of the experiments. Data should not be repeated both a table and a Figure. Tables and figures should be submitted separately as files.
Discussion: The discussion should not repeat the results, but provide detailed interpretation of data. This should interpret the significance of the findings of the work. The discussion about the tables and figures should appear in the text before the appearance of the respective tables and figures. No tables or figures should be given without discussion or reference inside the text.
Conclusions: This should emphasize the new and important aspects of the study and the variations or similarities with other work done in the field by other workers.
Acknowledgments: This optional part should include a statement thanking those who assisted substantially with work relevant to the study. Grant support should be included in this section.
Conflict of interests: Any information regarding the potential conflict of interests related to various aspects such as financial support by commercial firms, etc… should be disclosed in manuscripts to help clarify this issue. Declaring a competing interest will not lead to automatic rejection of the paper, but our journal staff would like to be made aware of it.
References: Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the references. References should be numbered consecutively in the order of their citation in the text and inserted between Round Brackets, e.g. (1), (6-10). List all authors when there are six or fewer; when there are seven or more, list the first six, followed by “et al.” (Vancouver reference style). The following are sample references:

Tables: Table headings should be placed above the table. The Tables should provide easier understanding and not duplicate information already included in the text or figures. They should be numbered (1, 2, 3, etc.) as they appear in the text. Each table should be supplied as a separate page at the end of the main document and not imbedded within the body of the text. The table header should be brief and self-explanatory. If it contains generic and species names, these must be spelled out in full, e.g., Candida albicans, not C. albicans. Column headings should be brief and include units in parentheses where applicable. Only horizontal rule lines should be used and then only for headers and footers. Tables should be considered as “stand alone” documents through which data are summarized for presentation to readers. As such, all abbreviations employed in the tables must be defined by footnotes included directly below the tables.
Figures: Figures should be numbered as 1, 2, 3, etc., and mentioned clearly in the main text. All figures should be in JPG, TIFF and GIF formats. The name and footnote of the figure should not be included in it. They should be included only if they augment understandability of the text. Structures should be produced with the use of a drawing program such as ChemDraw. Drawings and graphs should be professionally prepared in deep-black and submitted as glossy, black-and-white clean photostats. Professionally Illustrations should be numbered as cited in the sequential order in the text, and each should have a legend on a separate sheet. Color photographs are welcome at no charge.
Word count limit: There is no limitation for word count.
Revision: Papers may be returned to authors for modification of the scientific content and/or for shortening and language corrections. Revised version should be sent by electronic word type file to Tabari.BSRJ
mazums.ac.ir or Tabari.BSRJgmail.com. Please highlight revised parts to help the reviewers identify the changes. Make sure that it is a "point-by-point" response. If a paper that is returned to the authors for modification is not resubmitted within two months, it will be regarded as having been withdrawn and any revised version received subsequently will be treated as a new submission.
Proof Reading: Proofs will be sent to the corresponding author to be checked for only typographical errors and other essential small changes. Major alterations to the text can not be accepted at this stage. No changes in the name of the authors is permissible at this stage. Proofs must be returned to the Editor within 7 days of receipt.
Reprints: PDF electronically file of article will be sent to the corresponding author free of charge.
Abbreviations and symbols: Use only standard abbreviations. Avoid using them in the title and abstract. The full term for which an abbreviation stands should precede its first use in the text unless it is a standard unit of measurement.
Ethical guidelines: When reporting studies on human indicate whether the procedures followed were in accordance with the ethical standards of the responsible committee on human experimentation (institutional or regional) and with the Helsinki Declaration of 1975, as revised in 2000 (available at http://www.wma.net/en/20activities/10ethics/index.html and http://www.wma.net/en/20activities/20humanrights/index.html). Evidence for approval by a local Ethics Committee (for both human as well as animal studies) must be supplied by the authors on demand. Animal experimental procedures should be as humane as possible and the details of anesthetics and analgesics used should be clearly stated. The journal will not consider any paper which is ethically unacceptable. A statement on ethics committee permission and ethical practices must be included in all research articles under the ‘Materials and Methods’ section.
